I noticed that the php files and most of the files are opening in notepad. Can someone help me please I would like to use this but am kinda clueless on this really at the moment. I looked at the documentation section but it talks in circles or so it seems to me that is.

Vacation and a dead internet connection has kept me off line for a few weeks. For the installation of the e107, you need your web server to allow PHP. Did the installation of e107 work? Only uploading will not do anything, you need to install as well. This should be more or less automatic (See the e107 home page for all the details). Once that is working, let me know, and I'll talk you through the FH Tools installation. The opening in Notepad I don't really understand? Is it the files on your local computer, or the files on the server when you go to the page you want to see? If it is on the server I am 100% sure that PHP is not activated and hence, e107 (and FH Tools) will not be possible to install and run. If that is the case, check with your service provider if you can get PHP switched on.... Member of KodApa, and Project Leader for: FH Tools OTWG
